~New Years Eve Party~

lights//Christmas cards//scrumptious appetizers//family and friends//pancakes with meat//trying new things (Dutch Blitz anyone?!)//smiles//ringing the bell at midnight//playing "Auld Lang Syne" on the piano.
 New Year's Eve seems so long ago now, but I remember it as a joyous evening of good talk, laughter, embarrassing moments (for me anyway), tasty food (monster cookie dough dip anyone?), and reflections. 
As C.S. Lewis once said, "Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different...." Growing up does that too you sometimes. ;) 
Anyway (word of advice) try not to drink huge amounts of coffee unless you're planning on pulling an all-nighter with someone. A lesson learned no doubt! :D
