Dawn was breaking. The chill wind was making me feel cold, as I gazed into the ocean waves.
I stood there, reflecting, on memories gone by.

"How could you!"
"I didn't know!"
"Know what?! You know how much this book means to me!"
Silence.
"You love that book more than your own sister?"
Another memory.
Chatting through a computer:
"I'm sorry. I really am sorry."
As I open my eyes again, and turn my head from side to side, no-one is there. I've made horrible mistakes. I thought. "Lord, forgive me. I didn't know."
The sun breaks from the horizon, and I desperately wish I could share this moment with my forgotten sister.
